Bryson Whitney Martin

Bryson Whitney Martin, age 44, our cherished angel, gracefully departed to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 22, 2024. Born on December 5, 1979, to the loving embrace of Donald Joseph and Vicki Landry Martin in Abbeville, LA, Bryson brought immense light and warmth to all who knew him.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Evangeline Funeral Home in Delcambre. Fr. Buddy Breaux officiated.
Entombment followed at Migues Cemetery.
Throughout his life, Bryson found solace and delight in simple pleasures. His love for music was profound, and he found joy in the melodies that resonated with his soul. Among his favorite pastimes was indulging in the whimsical world of cartoons, with "Paw Patrol" holding a special place in his heart, bringing smiles and laughter to his days.
Bryson's family was the cornerstone of his existence, showering him with immeasurable affection and care. His radiant presence illuminated their lives, and his absence leaves a void that can never be filled. His love for home knew no bounds, finding contentment in the familiar surroundings and the warmth of familial love.
One of Bryson's greatest pleasures was savoring his father’s spaghetti, a dish that brought him unparalleled delight and comfort.
Bryson's affection for animals, particularly dogs, was evident in his gentle demeanor and compassionate spirit. His cherished companion, his Cabbage Patch Doll named Clay, accompanied him through countless adventures, serving as a loyal confidant and friend.
Above all else, Bryson was enveloped in the boundless love of his parents, his brother, sister-in-law, and nephews. Their unwavering devotion and endless affection provided him with strength and happiness throughout his journey.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Donald Joseph and Vicki Landry Martin, his brother, Travis D. Martin and wife Kourie; two nephews, Talen D. Martin and Preston L. Martin and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Preston A. and Vergie Guidry Landry and his paternal grandparents, Aramise and Alcida Cheramie Martin.
Honored to serve as pallbearers were TJ Saunier, Robert Williford, Kevin Landry, Windell Landry, Spencer Landry and Zach Pitre. Talen D. Martin, Preston L. Martin and Patrick Pitre were honorary pallbearers.
