Beth B. Melebeck named as President of Bank of Erath

Beth B. Melebeck has been named as President of the Bank of Erath and Bank of Erath Holding Company effective July 1, 2018. The announcement was made by Paul G. Moresi, Jr., the Bank’s Chief Executive Officer.
A lifelong native of Abbeville and an employee of the Bank for over 35 years, she has served with distinction as Executive Vice President for the last 17 years, and has served on the Board of Directors of the Bank since 2002.
She is a graduate of Vermilion Catholic High School. She earned a General Banking Diploma from the American Bankers Association in 1990, and is a 2002 graduate of the LSU Graduate School of Banking. Beth is married to Keith Melebeck and they have two children, Corey Melebeck, who is deceased, and Aaron Melebeck.
The promotion of Beth Melebeck to President is in keeping with the bank’s policy to build it’s staff from its employee base.
The Bank was organized in 1910 and is locally owned and operated as a community bank with branches in Abbeville, Erath and Delcambre.
The Bank’s current President, Paul G. Moresi, Jr., will continue to hold the office of Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board.
