Their testimony of success prevailed in making them Leading Trainers at racetracks like Jefferson Downs two years in a row in 1975 and 1976. Evangeline Downs in 1974. Lake Front, Birmingham Racecourse, Delta Downs, Fair Grounds Racecourse and Louisiana Downs. Alice and her husband Doris also owned and operated Cajun Downs Racetrack in Abbeville for twenty plus years. Alice's dedication to this passion all these many years contributed to the success the Hebert family enjoyed in the world of racing thoroughbreds.
