This week North Vermilion High School will be celebrating homecoming.
The annual homecoming parade will be Thursday, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The Patriots will take on the LaGrange Gators on Friday at 7 p.m.

Erath High School Homecoming Crown Bearer and Flower Girl

Each year Dozier Elementary randomly chooses one boy and one girl from the first-grade class to represent DES as the Erath High Homecoming Crown Bearer and Flower Girl. Recently, a drawing took place with the entire first-grade.
Dozier Elementary is proud to announce the 2023 Erath High Homecoming Crown Bearer and Flower Girl are Evan Thibodeaux and Oakleigh Falgout! These students will represent Dozier Elementary at the EHS Homecoming game on Friday, September 29, 2023!
Oakleigh is the daughter of Dillon and Jindi Falgout and Evan is the son of Micah and Amy Thibodeaux.

Jasmine Davis, Kyla Boudreaux, Trihnity Campbell, Damiya Bernard, Kensley Clark, Macie Soucy, A’Kela Shelvin, Josey Istre and Lylah Turner. Abbeville High announced Trihnity Campbell as Homecoming Queen during the Powder Puff Game on Monday.
Campbell will be crowned at halftime of this Friday’s Homecoming game against Beau Chene. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

Nancy Lacour Clapp of Abbeville and the late Noel Thomas Clapp is pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of her daughter, Miss Leanne Marcelle Clapp of Maurice, to Mr. Sean Nicholas Pousson of Port Barre. Sean is the son of Kevin and Connie Pousson of Port Barre. The nuptial wedding ceremony will take place on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Abbeville, Louisiana.
