Nine year old Aubrey Broussard and seven year old Gemma Broussard are two inspiring girls who wanted to help others. When their dad, Chip, was diagnosed with Melanoma two years ago, his daughters and wife Leslie were initially saddened by the news, as was he. The couple took on a lot in a short period of time, but managed to balance home life as well as hospital visits and treatments.

CYT (Christian Youth Theater) Vermilion Campers experienced a fun-filled week learning musical theater skills resulting in a showcase performance for family and friends. The campers learned how to treat individuals with respect, developed character traits including discipline, self-confidence, and integrity, bringing families together through the use of individual talents and abilities while sharing the love of Christ in word and deed.

Alexandra Nicole Dardar and Christopher August Leonards were united in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony during a 6:30 p.m. ceremony on July 26, 2019 at St. Edmonds Catholic Church in Lafayette, LA. Father Gilbert Dutel officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Susan and Clayton Dardar of Abbeville, LA. Her grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Trahan of Maurice, Louisiana and Mr. and Mrs. Oris Charles Dardar of Golden Meadow, LA.
