Shirley Hebert Huntsberry
ABBEVILLE — A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Shirley Hebert Huntsberry, 88, will be held at St. Thereasa Catholic Church on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of The Lake Mausoleum.
Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 9 a.m. until time of services with a recitation of the rosary at 10 a.m.
Eddie James Simon
ERATH – A Gathering of Family and Friends for Eddie James Simon, 64, will be held at a later date.
A native of Abbeville and a resident of Erath, Eddie passed away at 9:04 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2024 at his residence. He was a family man who cherished his time with his loved ones, especially his grandchildren. He was known for his love of Christ and spread the word of God with everyone around him.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 10 a.m. in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Carlton Joseph Leger also known as Joe. The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN Location on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. led by Mary Brown, Debbie Hash, and Sadie Hash. Visitation will continue on Wednesday morning from 8:00 am until 9:30 am ahead of services.
