LAFAYETTE — Memorial Services for Mr. James Charles "Jimmy" Barron, 79, will be held at 6:30 p.m., on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at David Funeral Home Chapel.
A gathering will be held from 5 p.m. until time of services, on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at David Funeral Home of Abbeville.
James Charles “Jimmy” Barron, aged 79, passed away at his home on September 27, 2024, Lafayette, Louisiana. He was born on July 21, 1945, in Northampton, England to Charles Enos Barron and Daisy Florie Roff Barron. He was raised in Belzoni, Mississippi.

ABBEVILLE — On the morning of Wednesday, September 18, 2024, Jimmie J. Landry, 90, passed away from this earthly life, and two days later on September 20, 2024, his beloved wife of seventy years Bernice J. Broussard, age 88, followed. They died within days of each other, as if part of God’s divine plan for them to never be apart. Both Jimmie and Bernice passed away at home in Abbeville, Louisiana surrounded by love and family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2024 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church for Marie Foret Broussard, 66, who passed away Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Ochsner Lafayette General Hospital.
